The CPS Foundation is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for CHS music students

The Columbus Public School Foundation is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for Columbus High School music students.

This memorial scholarship is named after Mr. Robert "Bob" Johnson a beloved music substitute teacher.  Mr. Johnson began this endowed scholarship to support the students that continue to impact his life and provide opportunities for them to continue their love of music.  The $500 in scholarship funds will be awarded to one graduating senior from Columbus High School who will pursue a program of study in music or education.

CPS Foundation Director, Nicole Anderson stated, "Mr. Johnson is loved by each and every student who participates in one of the middle school and high school programs.  The relationships and love of music that he has built with these students is commendable.  This scholarship will help many students be able to multiply their love of music and teaching to an uncountable number of future students."
